Cargill SE3™ fluid is a high-fire point, biodegradable synthetic ester insulating fluid (classified K by IEC 60110).

Compared to a classic mineral oil, it provides:

• Improved fire safety
• A better environmental footprint: biodegradable and non-hazardous
• Better moisture tolerance without significant degradation of dielectric stiffness
• Longer life of insulating paper
• A very low pour point with no low temperature crystallization
• Optimized oxidation stability

Cargill SE3™ is optimized for extreme cold conditions. It is particularly suitable for free breathing transformers.
